Amanda Pascale, Owner and Financial Care Manager
Amanda spent 30+ years managing Human Resources departments in the banking industry for 25 years and long term care for six. She developed a keen understanding of the difficulties people face managing and understanding their finances and benefits, like medical, 401ks, pensions, etc. She encountered many people who didn’t use the benefits offered because they didn’t understand the complexities of their plans. She worked with employees who faced challenges as their parents aged and encountered eldercare issues. She assisted the overwhelmed spouses and children of employees who passed away. She assisted countless employees, friends and families with issues concerning health care, medical insurance, banking, nursing homes, life insurance, and grief counseling.
On a personal level, Amanda managed the recordkeeping, billing and accounting for three small businesses with her husband. She personally managed 5 estates and was appointed as the Trustee of 8 education trusts. This resulted in extensive experience dealing with lawyers, accountants and probate courts. She is hoping to assist others in this overwhelming avalanche of documents and to-do’s called Estate Administration.
After 30 years in the corporate world, she knew that she wanted to find a way to help people manage the business of their own lives on a more personal level. Keeping up with changes in healthcare and retirement plans and having to deal with an “online” world, challenges people every day. She saw how stressed and disheartened people became in wavering through the mountain of paperwork, the terminology and expertise needed to accomplish the tasks in their personal lives. So, she launched her own business as a dedicated Financial Care Manager to make a difference in people’s lives.
Amanda says, “I talk with people about their beliefs, their wishes, their desires—those things that are important to them. I help them walk through their options. I “give them permission” to speak from their heart without judgment. I’m not their spouse, their child, their sibling, or a close friend. I’ve been through nine estates and personally managed five. With each event, I became more familiar with the challenges each must go through.
As a Certified Senior Advisor® through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors™ and a SHRM-SCP℠ (SHRM Senior Certified Professional) through The Society for Human Resource Management, Amanda is backed by the credentials needed to show her professionalism, yet so much more. She is also a member of AADMM, the American Association of Daily Money Managers which is a national membership organization representing individuals and businesses in the growing profession of daily money management.
